Reminds me old time games such as Space Quest a bit (may be not so deep, but humor is the same). I picked this game up because of the art style and hadn't read anything about it beforehand. I must say I was pleasantly surprised.First off the art is beautiful. The gameplay is relatively simple, you can control it all with a mouse, yet kept me gripped.Even though the game is currently $10 and I got 5hours of gameplay out of it, it was a great 5 hours and with the developers promising more content to come it is definitely worth the price.Only main issue I've had is if you apply shields/armour and go back to your base; when returning to the overworld you lose all armour and shields.Check out my full review with gameplay here: https://youtu.be/INL2O2Kdo7M. Okay, so you know how you end up with a few hundred games in your Steam library and you have no memory of aquiring those games? It's usually from Humble Bundles or Fanatical bundles, right? So for me, this game falls into that category. It was my day off work (yeah, that thing a lot of us do in 'real life') and I was browsing through my game library and just booted up this game on a whim. I had read no reviews and did not know anything about it.It's weird! But weird in a good way! It actually reminds me of the old Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone Fighting Fantasy books in a way, bizarre as that seems. You encounter multiple choice questions and your answer determines where you go next.It seems to be a fun, interesting game, suitable for short ten or twenty minute spells. I am not sure I would pay full price for it (and am pretty sure I didn't!) but if you spot it on sale or as part of a bundle, then I think you'll be happy with it.. A nice way to spend some time.
